Meet the Principles
Angela D. Swope
President, Bear Paw Systems
I have been an Independent Small Business owner and manager for
the past ten years. My business focus has been the delivery of hi
tech solutions to business and government.
While my responsibilities include finance and overall management,
my true focus is overall client satisfaction and the development
of long term client loyalty. I have helped develop comprehensive
guidelines for all our support personnel.
Our sales efforts must include a technical team member to insure
that all "promises made" result in "promises kept".
I sincerely believe that our continued success depends on this philosophy.
All our team members are infused with this approach from the first
interview.
On a more personal note, my husband and I have been partners and
best friends for close to twelve years. Originally from west Texas,
I love living in SW Florida with our, far too numerous, dogs and
cats.
R. David Swope
Vice President, Bear Paw Systems
I have been an Independent businessman for the past eighteen years.
My focus has been to select high quality products with a strong
return on investment and to develop a professional sales force to
deliver these products to industry and government.
Unlike Angela, I avoid finance as much as possible and look to
her to keep us on course. I, too, subscribe to her philosophy of
keeping all promises made and require a "team selling approach".
All major presentations involve members of both sales and technical
support. It is not unusual to also include members of our installation
and training teams on sales calls.
Angela and I have been partners and best friends for almost twelve
years. Any success I may have, I certainly owe to her. Some have
alleged that I am her single biggest mistake but I count her as
my biggest success!
We have numerous children, all with four feet and fur coats. While
the place can take on the look of a zoo, all have promised not to
go to college. Now we need to find them a group medical policy as
the company policy won't cover them for some reason.
